Her Parents Died Waiting For Justice, Now Anne McDaniel's Brother Is The Last One Left
Thirty years have passed since Anne Carolyn McDaniel was killed in Virginia. Her parents died without ever learning who did it.
Now, three decades after the 20-year-old's body was found along Stringfellow Road in the Lignum area of Culpeper County, investigators are taking another shot at solving the mystery.
McDaniel, who lived in Orange and had friends in Culpeper County, was last seen on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996.
Four days later, on Sunday, Sept. 22, her body was found.
Her death was ruled a homicide. No one has ever been held accountable.
